What is ERPNext, and what is Mubarmij ERP?

ERPNext is an open-source enterprise resource planning (ERP) system developed by Frappe Technologies and published under the GPL-3.0 licence. It keeps accounting, inventory, sales, purchasing, point of sale, projects and manufacturing in one database, and its interface is translated into Arabic with right-to-left support.

Mubarmij ERP is the name under which we offer ERPNext: the standard version 16 under the Mubarmij brand, on a site of your own under erp-trial.moparmeg-ksa.com, set up in Arabic with Saudi riyal currency and Riyadh time. We add no modules that ERPNext itself does not have.

What can you try in 30 days?

The trial is the full standard ERPNext 16, not a cut-down edition. These are the main modules you work with from day one:

  • Accounting

Chart of accounts, journal entries, sales and purchase invoices, payments, VAT as tax templates, and balance sheet, profit and loss and trial balance reports.

  • Inventory and warehouses

Items and units of measure, multiple warehouses, serial numbers and batches, receipts, issues and transfers, and stock valuation.

  • Sales and CRM

Leads and opportunities, quotations, sales orders, delivery notes, and price lists and discounts.

  • Purchasing

Material requests, supplier quotations, purchase orders, purchase receipts and supplier invoices.

  • Point of sale

The ERPNext point-of-sale screen with a POS profile per branch, shift closing and partial payments.

  • Employee records

Employees, departments, designations and holiday lists: the base the other modules build on.

  • Projects and manufacturing

Projects, tasks and timesheets, plus bills of materials and work orders if you make your own products.

Payroll, leave and attendance are not part of ERPNext itself; they live in the separate Frappe HR app, which is not installed in the trial.

Who is Mubarmij ERP for?

Small and mid-sized businesses that have outgrown an invoicing app and spreadsheets and want one number for stock and accounts.

  • Retail and showrooms

Point of sale per branch, stock updated at the moment of sale, and profit by item.

  • Distribution and wholesale

Multiple warehouses, customer price lists, and linked sales orders, deliveries and invoices.

  • Light manufacturing

Bills of materials, work orders and product cost from raw materials.

  • Services and contracting

Projects, tasks, timesheets and project-based billing.

  • Multi-company groups

Several companies in one system, each with its own chart of accounts, with consolidated reports.

When is it not for you yet?

  • If you need phase-two e-invoicing integration today: the trial includes no app for it.
  • If your business is simple invoicing with no stock: a smaller invoicing app is cheaper and easier.
  • If your policy requires data to stay inside the Kingdom: the trial servers are in Finland.

How does the trial work? Four steps

From request to your first invoice, with nothing to install on your computer:

  1. Send the request

Fill in the trial form: your name, email, company name and, optionally, your mobile. You can also ask the Techno assistant to prepare the request, then confirm it yourself.

  2. We review it within 24 hours

The Technology KSA team reviews every request by hand and replies by email. Approval is not automatic, and sending the form does not create an account.

  3. You receive a set-password link

Once approved, your own site is created and an email from [email protected] gives you its address and a link to set your password yourself. We never send passwords.

    your-company.erp-trial.moparmeg-ksa.com

  4. Use the system for 30 days

We remind you on day 23 and day 27. On day 30 the site is suspended and its data is kept for 14 days so you can extend or move to a subscription; then the site and its database are deleted.

ERPNext or Odoo? The difference in licence and what you get free

Many people looking for an Odoo alternative compare the two. These are differences you can check in each project’s licence, not ratings.

Our recommendation

If you want a fully open-source system with no per-user licence fee, ERPNext is the closer fit. If you depend on Odoo Enterprise apps or an existing Odoo partner, moving needs an assessment of your data before any decision. The best way to judge is to run your real cycles for 30 days.

Where is your data hosted, and what happens to it?

We tell you exactly where the system runs and when data is deleted, before you enter your first number.

  • Hosting

Trial sites run on a server operated by Technology KSA at Hetzner in Finland, in the European Union, not inside the Kingdom.

  • Isolation

Every trial has its own site, its own database and its own database user. Your company never shares an account or a database with another company.

  • No passwords by email

You set your password yourself through an ERPNext link; our team neither stores nor sends it.

  • Deletion

After 30 days the site is suspended; after 14 more days without an extension, the site and its database are deleted, with one last backup kept on the server for a short time and then removed.

  • Open source

ERPNext is GPL-3.0, so your data and its formats are not locked to one provider and can move to any other ERPNext host.

  • Who we are

Technology KSA (شركة تكنولوجيا سعودية), commercial registration 4030463877, head office in Jeddah and an office in Riyadh. Mubarmij is our brand for business systems.

Frequently asked questions about the ERPNext trial

Is the ERPNext trial really free?

Yes. The trial is free for 30 days and we do not ask for a payment card. You pay nothing unless you decide after the trial to move to a subscription, which is a separate decision you agree with our team.

What happens after the 30 days?

On day 30 the trial site is suspended, so nobody can sign in, and its data is kept for 14 days. During that time you can ask to extend the trial or move to a paid subscription. We email you on day 23 and day 27 before it ends.

Is my data deleted after the trial?

Yes, unless you extend or subscribe. Fourteen days after the site is suspended, the site and its database are deleted; one last backup is kept on the server for a short time and then removed. Trial data is not sent to any other party.

Can I turn the trial into a subscription without losing data?

Yes, if you ask before the 14-day grace period ends. Our team takes a backup of the trial site and restores it into your paid site, so accounts, items and documents move as they are. It is a manual step our team arranges with you.

Does ERPNext support Arabic and the Saudi riyal?

Yes. The ERPNext interface is translated into Arabic and runs right to left, and we set up the trial site in Arabic with Saudi riyal currency and Riyadh time. Each user can switch to English in their settings.

Is the ZATCA Fatoora e-invoicing connection part of the trial?

No. The trial is standard ERPNext and includes no app for connecting to the Fatoora platform or for phase-two e-invoicing. You can try invoices and VAT tax templates, but the connection to the authority is not available in the trial.

How many users can use the trial?

The trial starts with one administrator account, the person who requested it. If you need colleagues to try it, ask our team to add them with roles such as accountant, sales user or stock user; each of them receives their own set-password link.

What is the difference between ERPNext and Fawtara (UBOS)?

ERPNext is a full ERP covering accounting, inventory, sales, purchasing, point of sale, projects and manufacturing. Fawtara (UBOS) is our lighter platform for invoicing and day-to-day business management. If you have stock, warehouses and several branches, start with the ERPNext trial; if your need is mainly invoicing, Fawtara is simpler.

Run your real business cycles on ERPNext before you decide

Enter your actual items, customers and invoices for 30 days. If the system fits, we move your data to a subscription; if it does not, the site is deleted with no commitment.
